Easter Restaurants in Toledo, Ohio

Toledo is a medium-sized city in northwestern Ohio situated on the banks of the Maumee River and Lake Erie. Area attractions include the Toledo Museum of Art, the Toledo Zoo and the Old West End historic district. If you are in the Toledo area over the Easter holiday you will find a number of area restaurants that are open and some of them even serve special buffets for the holiday.

Heather Downs Country Club

Heather Downs Country Club serves an Easter lunch that is open to both country club members and the public between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Easter Sunday each year. The meal is served buffet style. Highlights include a special carving station, a hot station, a bar for soups and salads and a dessert station. The clubs recommends reservations but does not require them.

Oregon Inn

The Oregon Inn on Bay Shore is located just 12 minutes away by car from the center of Toledo. Each year it serves a buffet style holiday meal on Easter Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The specialty of the house is Polish cuisine so you can expect lots of kielbasa and kapusta. In addition, you can choose from twice-baked potatoes, green bean casserole, Key West vegetables, salads, jam baked lemon pepper tilapia, pasta Alfredo and a beef dish. There is a significant discount for children.

Scrambler Marie’s

Scrambler Marie’s is a breakfast restaurant that is open throughout the Easter holidays and is a good bet for Easter brunch. Choose from such tempting menu items as bottomless French toast, the Hollandaise Heaven omelet, blueberry waffles, the Patriot biscuit and gravy breakfast, the Field of Dreams sandwich (with fresh spinach, tomato, mushroom, scrambled eggs, sundried tomato sauce, Monterrey Jack and yellow cheddar cheese on thick wheat toast), the Veggie Garden scramble wrap, the Arbor Square skillet (potato chunks and two basted eggs covered with tender diced chicken breast, broccoli, mushrooms, diced onions, slivered almonds and diced tomatoes topped with Hollandaise sauce) and Country Boy eggs benedict. Scrambler Marie’s also offers special menus for kids and seniors. The restaurant is open from 6:30 a.m. till 3 p.m.
