Bolle, a company known for producing high-end glasses for sports and safety, has two main product lines that offer interchangeable lenses: Breakaway and Action Sport. These products allow you to change your lenses based upon the amount of sunlight, location and degree of acuity needed for specific aspects, such as moguls on a ski slope. While the task can be daunting at first, it is relatively easy to perform a quick and easy lens change.

Breakaway Lenses

Hold the glasses upside down and with the arms facing away from you.

Push up on the center of the glasses (the bridge) with your left thumb while simultaneously pulling down with your right hand to bend the frame and release the lenses from the center part of the glasses.

Slide both of the lenses out of the outer section of the glasses to completely remove them. Be careful not to twist, pull or force the lenses out as this can damage the frame.

Insert replacement lens by placing the tab of the lens into the outside (temple section) first. Then, align the lens with the area at the middle, bend the frame slightly and snap into the bridge of the glasses. This step should be completed one lens at a time.

Action Sport Lenses

Push up on the center of the frame near the indentation with your left thumb while simultaneously pulling down with your right hand to bend the frame and release the lenses from the center part of the glasses. Slide the lenses out of the frame.

Grasp the small indentation in the center of the frame between your thumb and forefinger. Using your other hand, place the nosepiece onto the frame.

While grabbing the nosepiece, insert the center part of the frame over the small indentation on the top of the lens. Snap the frame into place.

Snap each of the upper corners into to place to finish installation.
