Pork contains essential nutrients such as vitamins B6 and B12 along with zinc, thiamin, phosphorous and protein. Finding a way to prepare the meat so it remains juicy increases the likelihood that your family will enjoy the healthy meat. Besides keeping the pork chops juicy, the Pampered Chef stoneware improves with continued use. The more you use the deep covered baker, the more seasoned it becomes, resulting in a nonstick surface that adds flavor to the meat.
Lightly coat the interior surface of the baker with vegetable or canola oil if this is the first time you are using it. If your baker is already seasoned, there is no need to prep it for each meal.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Season your pork chops according to your personal taste. Try seasonings such as seasoned salt, garlic powder or lemon and herbs on your chops.
Place the meat in the bottom of the baker and leave a small amount of space between each piece to prevent them from sticking together. The number of chops you can cook at a time depends on their size.
Place the baker's lid on top and put in the oven. Allow to bake for 45 minutes.
Check the temperature of the thickest portion of the chops with a digital thermometer to ensure they are fully cooked. The meat must reach 160 degrees Fahrenheit for safe consumption.
