The Stauer hybrid watch is a chronograph watch with combination analog and digital functions, and retails for approximately $50. Operating the Stauer hybrid watch is fairly simple and only takes a few steps.

Unscrew the crown, or the small knob on the right side of the watch, by turning it counterclockwise. Pull the crown out one click and turn clockwise until the desired time appears on the watch hands. Push the crown back into the side of the watch.

Press the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch three times to set the digital time. Press the button on the bottom right-hand side of the watch until the minutes flash and push the button on the top right-hand side of the watch to advance the minutes to the desired time. Repeat to set the hour, date, month and day of the week. Press the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch to exit the time setting mode.

Push and hold the button on the bottom right-hand side of the watch to set the alarm. Press the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch twice until the time display flashes and then press the button on the top right-hand side of the watch to advance the time. Push the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch to exit the alarm mode.

Press the button on the top right-hand side of the watch to start the chronograph stopwatch. Press again to stop timing. Press the button on the bottom right-hand side of the watch to reset the stopwatch and press the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch to return to normal timekeeping.

Push down and hold the button on the bottom right-hand side of the watch while pushing the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch to adjust the chime sound for the alarm.
