How to Program a G Shock Watch

The G-Shock Watch is a line of watches made by the Casio Company that feature a rugged waterproof exterior and come in a variety of colors and styles. Styles include the Classic, Giez, Limited, Master of G and Mtg lines and are available in green, black, white, yellow, red, purple and blue colors, among others. Programming a Casio G-Shock watch takes a few steps in order to use the timekeeping, stopwatch and alarm functions.

Press the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch to change between modes on the watch, including timekeeping, alarm and stopwatch modes.

Press the button on the top left-hand side of the watch until the seconds flash to set the time.

Press the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch until the hours flash. Press the button on the bottom right-hand side of the watch until the correct hour shows on the display. Press the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch until the minutes flash. Press the button on the bottom right-hand side of the watch to change to the correct minutes. Repeat to change the date, month and year on the watch display.

Push the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch until the timer for the stopwatch appears to use the stopwatch mode.

Press the button on the watch face near the bottom to start the stopwatch. Press again to stop the stopwatch. Press the button the bottom right-hand side of the watch to reset the stopwatch.

Push the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch until the watch reaches alarm mode to set the alarm.

Hold down the button the top right-hand side of the watch until the hour display flashes. Press the button on the bottom right-hand side of the watch to change to the desired alarm hour. Press the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch to change to the minutes and press the button on the bottom right-hand side of the watch to set the desired minute time. Press the button on the top left-hand side of the watch to exit alarm setting mode.

Press the button on the watch face near the bottom to illuminate the backlight during dark conditions.
