Since the groom plans the wedding rehearsal dinner, he can come up with any theme he likes. If he is a hunting fanatic, he could go with a hunting theme. There are many favors the he could give out to guests to incorporate the hunting theme. The decorations may lend themselves more to fall, so as not to bring out camouflage and shotguns, so the groom can go all out on the favors, showing his guests that he loves hunting.

Antler Gifts

If the groom loves to hunt deer, consider a favor made out of antlers. With items ranging from small fan pulls to antler toilet paper holders, there is sure to be an item that would be perfect for the favors. There are even coasters made out of antlers and wood. For an extra-special gift for the parents of the wedding couple, consider a candelabra or wine rack made of interlocking antlers. From the funny to the unique, there are favors made out of antlers that everyone will enjoy.

Subtle Gifts

If you want a favor that hints more subtly at the hunting theme, there are many choices. Candles with a floral design, especially in red, yellow and brown, are very reminiscent of fall and hunting. A keepsake lantern is made of wax to look like a candle, only it is hollow inside. Adding a tea light candle inside, the lantern never melts down, so guests can use it for years. Some lanterns even are available with personalized inscriptions, which would be a good place to put the couple's name and wedding date.

Many couples like to contribute to saving the earth, and a good way to do that would be by giving seedling trees as favors. They can come stamped with your name and wedding date and are less than $2 per seedling.

Hunting Decor Gifts

Everyone likes to eat, so give the food lover a set of place mats with a hunting theme. With your favorite animal in the middle, your guests are sure to remember you each time they use it on their table. From bears to wolves to elk, the colorful and vivid place mats have a pinecone design around the edges.

Another home accent that can double as a favor is a wooden picture frame. Bundles of wood, tied together at the corners with leather thongs and finished off with a sprig of pinecones and leaves, this frame holds a 4 inch by 6 inch photo. You could even insert a photo of the couple into the frame before distributing it to your guests.
