Weddings are an exciting time to celebrate your transition from bachelorette to wife. Invite your dearest female friends and family who are part of the bridal party to a bridal luncheon one to two weeks before your wedding. A bridal luncheon is the perfect time to present your bridesmaids with gifts for being in your wedding. Include a handwritten note to let each bridesmaid know that you appreciate her.

Traditional

A traditional gift for a bridal luncheon is to give jewelry that the bridesmaids and maid of honor can wear to the wedding. The jewelry doesn't have to be expensive, but it should look nice. Pick out a piece of jewelry or a set with a necklace and earrings. You should choose jewelry that matches the bridesmaid dresses that you picked out because it should go with the colors of your wedding.

Relax Together

Treat your bridal party to a fun experience to get everyone to relax after a lunch together. Make a spa date with your bridal party to freshen everyone up before the big day. Treat your girls to a pedicure, manicure, hair cuts and eyebrow waxings. On the other hand, your bridal party might cover their spa treatments, but you can give them a favor to go home with. Put a monogrammed robe with a few lotions and nail polishes in a tote bag for each girl.

Destination Wedding Favors

Grab your girls together to go on a day cruise. Enjoy your lunch aboard a ship overlooking a local river, such as the General Jackson Cruise and Show in Nashville, Tennessee. Treat your bridal party to their tickets or give them a tote bag filled with goodies perfect for a cruise, such as a wide-brimmed hat and suntan lotion. You could also travel to a beach or lake to have lunch by the water and give a present that could be used while there.

Sentimental

Make a bridal luncheon favor that has sentimental meaning. As an example, create a memory box for each girl in your bridal party. Purchase a wooden box from a craft store. Paint the box with the colors that you picked out for your wedding. Fill the box with sentimental items, such as photos and ticket stubs from events that you attended together. Leave a note for each girl telling her why she is important to you.
