How to Turn the Hourly Beep Off on a Gap Watch

by Maxwell Payne ; Updated September 28, 2017

Gap is a clothing company that also makes a variety of fashion accessories. Included in its lineup are various watches, including the Gap Sports Watch line geared toward kids and teens. Like many watches, these sports watches have a built-in alarm feature that can be set by default to beep at either a preset time or every hour. You can disable the beep by turning the alarm setting to "off."

Step 1

Locate the "Reset" and "Start" button on the sport watch.

Step 2

Press both the "Reset" and Start" button at the same time until the watch screen displays "alarm mode."

Step 3

Press the "Mode" button to cycle through "Alarm On/Alarm Off" until the "Alarm Off" words appear. On some Gap sport watches a small "alarm" image might disappear from the display, indicating that the alarm beep is off.

Step 4

Press "Start" again to set the alarm to "off" and return to the main clock display.
