How to Re-Grow Eyebrows

by Lexie Zirkle

You may have over-plucked your eyebrows, lost them due to an illness, or simply want them thicker to stand out. There is an effective natural way of growing your eyebrow hair back that you can do from home. Find the items you'll need at the grocery store and after a month, you'll have your eyebrows back thicker and healthier than before.

Items you will need

  • Vitamin B6
  • Iron
  • Olive oil
  • Non-comedogenic eyebrow powder
  • Cotton ball
Step 1

Take a Vitamin B6 supplement every day. Make sure the supplement supplies you with at least 100 percent of your daily B6 requirement. This nourishes your hair, skin and nails, promoting growth.

Step 2

Get tested by your doctor for anemia. Lack of iron can discourage hair growth. Increase your iron consumption by eating leafy green vegetables, eggs, fish and dairy products daily.

Step 3

Dip a cotton ball in olive oil, and wipe the oil across the eyebrows once a day. According to HomeRemediesForYou.com, olive oil thickens your eyebrows.

Step 4

Avoid plucking your brows, even if they're not even. According to Hair Boutique, over-plucking not only leads to more hair loss, but can cause irritation and ingrown hairs.

Step 5

Cover up any patchy areas of your brows while waiting for them to regrow. Non-comedogenic eyebrow powder lets you to do so without irritating your skin or hair follicles. According to PickyGuides, eyebrow powder ingredients have emollients that soften and condition your hair as it grows.
