It can be difficult to grow naturally beautiful nails. In order for your nails to grow healthily, it is necessary to keep them in good condition. To prevent your nails from becoming brittle and dry, apply nail strengthener. While some store brands can be expensive and contain harsh chemicals that can ultimately be harmful to your nails' growth, creating your own nail strengthener may be the answer to healthier nails.

Pour 1 tsp. of wheat germ oil, 2 tsp. of castor oil and 2 tsp. of table salt into a bowl.

Stir the ingredients until they are well blended. Pour the mixed solution into a storage bottle.

Dab the solution onto each nail with your fingers. Let the solution soak into your nails for 5 to 10 minutes before you wipe it off. It is safe to use this homemade product every day until you are satisfied with the strength of your nails.

  • Instead of using a bowl, a quicker way to mix the ingredients together is to put them into a storage bottle and shake the bottle vigorously until blended.
