Items you will need
- 8 oz orange juice
- 2 scoops of pineapple sherbert
- 2 scoops of frozen strawberries
- 1 scoop frozen blueberries
- 2 scoops of crushed ice.
Here is a recipe so that you can make your very own Jamba Juice at home.
Start with 8 oz orange juice and add in 2 scoops of pineapple sherbert. Make sure to use sherbert and not ice cream because sherbert greatly affects the consistency of the smoothie.
Next add 2 scoops of frozen strawberries. One scoop of fruit is equivalent to 1 ice cream scoop.
Then 1 scoop frozen blueberries.
Add 2 scoops of crushed ice.
Blend until desired consistency and drink up.
You can add any extra nutrients like wheat grass, etc. For juice, use a juice concentrate with half the recommended water, this will give your smoothie the similar texture of a jamba juice. All scoops are standard ice cream scoop sizes. If your smoothie turns out thinner than you wanted, add more sherbert, if thicker add for juice. For Orange Juice no concentrates are needed.
