How to Make an Open Face Tuna Melt

Tuna fish sandwiches are a timeless American classic. There are many variations, one of those being the tuna melt. These simple steps will show you how to make delicious tuna melts in just a matter of minutes.

Make sure you have the supplies. Check the above list and make sure that you have all the necessary supplies. If you do not, you can easily acquire them at any grocery store.

Prepare the tuna. Open the can of tuna and drain the water. Dump the contents into a small bowl and combine with 2 ounces of mayonnaise, 1 ounce of yellow mustard, and a desired amount of salt and pepper. Mix evenly

Spread the mixture on the bread, open face. Lay out two pieces of desired bread on a baking sheet. Use the spoon and spread the tuna mixture evenly over the top of both pieces of bread. Place a slice of desired cheese over the top of each piece of bread.
