It can happen to anyone. One bad slurp when eating your spaghetti dinner and you’ll have a stain on your shirt. While a spaghetti sauce stain can look like a disaster, it doesn’t have to ruin your shirt. With a simple technique, you should be able to remove the unsightly stain.

Blot the stain with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel. Never rub the stain because it will just drive the stain further into your clothes.

Turn the clothing article inside out and run it under cold water. With the water coming from behind the stain, it will help it to push the stain out.

Carefully rub liquid detergent in the stain and let sit for at least a half an hour.

Wash the clothing article just as you normally would but under cold water.

  • The sooner that you can get to the stain, the easier of a time you will have to remove it.
