0:00 Hi, this is Rich Buccola here in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village
0:04 I'm gonna show you how to make stuffed shrimp. Alright, we have our shrimp de-scaled, deveined.
0:14 Here's all the mess, look at how easy just go like this right into your garbage. Look
0:18 at how clean that is. Boom, you're ready to go. Now we're gonna butterfly them. This is
0:22 how they should look when they're butterflied, nice and flat like that. How are you gonna
0:25 get that effect? You're gonna get your pearing knife and the same way I cut in like this
0:30 before you're gonna do the same way, except you're gonna keep your, I'm gonna do it this
0:33 way, you're gonna just slice in nice even cut all the way down to the tail. And you
0:40 could just keep slicing it, and then what you're gonna do is you're gonna open it up.
0:46 And as you see it's not always perfectly cut, but as you start to cut more, it will open
0:51 up more. So again, I'm gonna cut it a little bit more with my knife and I'm gonna open
0:55 it up more. Then you're gonna take your cutting, your chopping knife and just give it a little
1:01 pounding. And that's it, that's how I butterfly them. And boom. So, again we're just gonna
1:09 go right down the middle, we're gonna open it up. We're gonna even open it like from
1:15 here, start helping it cut along and once you get it cut open enough, alright, your
1:24 gonna take your knife again. If it's not enough just keep cutting it, it will open up and
1:29 it will butterfly. Then you'll just take your knife like so, and give it a little pounding.
1:33 And that's how you butterfly your shrimp. When I come back, we're gonna start getting
1:39 our batter ready and our mixture ready and we're gonna get this meal together, and it's
1:43 gonna be great. Stuffed shrimp here on Expert Village.
