Deodorant is a must for most people who want to mask their own natural underarm odors. If you want to save yourself the expense of buying new deodorant at the store every few weeks or months, you can make your own underarm deodorant right at home. The ingredients that you need are inexpensive and gentle on the skin.

Place 3 tablespoons each of shea butter and baking soda, along with 2 tablespoons each of corn starch and cocoa butter into a microwave-safe container.

Microwave the four ingredients for approximately 30 seconds.

Puncture two Vitamin E oil capsules and squeeze them into the mixture.

Add a splash of essential oil, such as orange oil, which will help to create a more pleasant scent.

Stir all of the ingredients until well-blended and pour the mixture into a glass jar.

Cover the jar and place it in the refrigerator so that the deodorant will solidify.

Apply by rubbing a small amount from the fingers onto the underarms.
