How to Apply for a Divorce Online in Dekalb County, Georgia

Experiencing a divorce is never easy, but the county clerk's office in DeKalb County, Georgia, has organized several steps to help ease this often gruelling process. All the information is found on their official website, and can be completed from the comfort of your own home.


Start by visiting the official DeKalb County website.

Select the "I want to:" drop-down menu at the top of the page, then choose "File for a Divorce."

The "Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit" page should pop up in a separate window. After reading through the contents, click the hyperlink found under "Attorney Consultations."

The electronic PDF form will open in a new window. Once you have filled it out, click "Send". Non-Citizens are required to complete the "Resident Status Verification" form.
