When you're in the process of growing facial hair, you want to get through the process quickly. After all, dealing with patchy growth can be embarrassing and unattractive. There are ways to hasten the process and experience the positive results of lush and full facial hair in a relatively short period of time.

Adjust your diet so that you are consuming plenty of low-fat proteins like chicken and fish to boost keratin production in the body and speed up hair growth. If this isn't possible for you, consider taking a supplement that's high in biotin. This substance stimulates keratin production as well and can play a role in speeding up hair growth.

Skip shaving for several weeks to speed up facial hair growth. Contrary to popular belief, shaving does not encourage your hair to grow back thicker or faster. In fact, it will just delay the facial hair growth process. Let your hair grow out without any interference from you for the best results.

Cleanse your facial hair a few times a week with a mild shampoo to remove built up oil and to unclog pores or hair follicles. This can encourage faster hair growth and an general improved condition of the hair.

Trim off split ends or damaged areas of your facial hair once a week or so. Your goal isn't to remove length from your facial hair. Rather, it is to remove damaged ends, which if allowed to stay, could split and break and result in a lengthened facial hair growth process.
