Toddler minds are like little sponges, soaking up everything they are exposed to. So, there are a lot of benefits to enrolling your little one in a toddler class or two. This gives him the opportunity to experience new things and encourages learning. If you live in the Richmond, Virginia, area you have several toddler programs to choose from.
Let's Make Music Together
Expose your toddler to the world of music by enrolling the two of you in a Music Together class at Let's Make Music Together (musictogetherwithcarol.com). Your toddler will learn to keep a beat, sing in tune and experience the joy of making her own music. Young children learn more about music when they see their parent actively making music, so you will work right alongside your little one in class. This class is open to children under the age of 7.
Rompn'roll (rompnroll.com) has classes for you and your toddler to explore music, art and more in a laid-back, comfortable environment. Classes for 1 year olds include Gym, where your toddler plays with you and the rest of the class in a gym that has a safe padded floor and soft play equipment. At Circle Time you can sing songs and take part in activities like a bubble dance party. Art Explorers is another 1-year-old class where your toddler can use his imagination to create a craft to take home, listen to a story and sing a song. Your 2-year-old toddler can take a Superheroes class, in which he will make a superhero mask in the art room and then leap from tall buildings in the gym. He will think he is Superman! The Princess Class is perfect for the 2-year-old little princess in your family, with art activities, stories, songs and a magical tea party.
