People as young as 14 years old can dance the night away at one of the teen dance clubs in the Chicago area. In addition to offering popular music, an upbeat crowd and dancing, the venues also have special events such as foam parties and celebrity appearances. The dance clubs have dress codes, so plan ahead and dress to impress.
Zero Gravity is an alcohol-free dance club open to youth ages 16 to 23. The club is just outside of Chicago in Naperville and is open from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Saturdays. The club is also open on Fridays and Sundays, but hours vary. The venue regularly hosts special events such as paint parties, foam parties, birthday celebrations, back-to-school celebrations and guest DJ entertainment. Teens can get into the club with a school ID, passport, driver’s license or state ID.
Energy Thursday Night Dance Club
Energy Thursday Night Dance Club is in Stone Park, which is about 5 miles west of Chicago. The club is equipped with plasma televisions, video walls, a Co2 system for cooling and a state-of-the-art lighting system. Teens can dance to the beats on the multi-level dance floors while enjoying music from local and guest DJs. The club is open from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Thursday nights. The club is also open occasionally on Fridays for special events.
Club Starz is an alcohol-free teen dance club in Villa Park that is open to teens ages 14 to 18. Teens can dance to a variety of music genres such as Top 40, hip-hop, house and re-mixes. To enter the club, teens must present a student ID, driver’s license, state ID or passport at the door. The club is open from 6:30 to 11 p.m. on the evenings listed on its website. Special events, such as foam parties and spring break events, take place throughout the year.
On Saturday nights, Medusa's is open to youths ages 14 to 16 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. After 10 p.m., teens 17 and older can take advantage of the dance floor, music and light shows. The top levels of the club are reserved for guests 21 years old and older. The club hosts special events, such as birthday bashes and celebrity appearances.
