Cool Places for a Birthday Party for Teens in Memphis, TN

by Debbie Dragon

Planning birthday parties for teens can be challenging because teens are too old for the typical children's party venues but not quite old enough for adult-themed parties at one of the many Memphis bars or clubs. Despite the challenges, Memphis, Tennessee offers several options to celebrate the teen birthday that would be considered “cool” by even the most discriminating of teen guests.

Active Parties Held Indoors

Teenagers may be too old to participate in the typical inflatable bounce-house party, but they can still get in some jumping fun at Sky Zone. Sky Zone is an indoor trampoline park that offers birthday parties for teenagers. Everyone under the age of 17 must have a liability waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. Party guests can jump across trampoline floors or play three-dimensional versions of dodge ball in rooms with trampoline walls. All party packages include an hour of jump time with shoe rental, 40 minutes in the private party room, plates, napkins, cups and utensils, food and drinks for party guests, T-shirt for the birthday kid and two free passes for returning to Sky Zone in the future. You can add on additional pizza, drinks or ice cream, and you can even add on Sky Zone merchandise for your party guests. Pricing is per person and depends on the party package chosen and the number of guests. Laser Quest birthday parties are perfect for active teenagers. Party packages include two Laser Quest games per guest and a private party room. You can bring your own food or ask about pizza delivery services. The birthday guest receives a pass for a free Laser Quest game in the future, and each party guest receives a buy one, get one free pass for a future visit.
